FAQ
Questions schools ask us.
What if our footage is messy?+
Most school footage is shot on phones, so that's what we expect. We correct colour and light, steady shaky clips, clean up background noise and add music, captions and your branding. Footage that is out of focus or misses the key moment can't be fully rescued. If that happens, we'll tell you before we start and share our shooting guide, so your next event comes out better.
What about student data privacy?+
Your footage is shared only with our editing team, who work under a confidentiality agreement. It is used only to make the videos you approve, for your school's own channels. We never use your students or your videos in our own marketing without your written permission. Raw footage is deleted 30 days after your pack ends.
Who owns the videos?+
Your school does. Once the pack is paid for, the final videos are yours to use anywhere, for as long as you like. We keep raw footage and project files for 30 days after your pack ends, then delete them. Save your final files from your Drive folder before then.
Do you need parental consent?+
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) rules, from May 2027 schools need verifiable parental consent before using photos or videos of students under 18. We recommend collecting it now as part of admission or annual forms.
Why shouldn't we just hire a local freelancer?+
Local freelancers lack education sector experience, miss deadlines during admission seasons, and don't understand parent psychology. Grownetic brings 30 years of deep education sector insight backed by a full creative team.
How quickly will we get our videos?+
You choose the speed when you send a request. Standard: your first cut arrives within 72 hours of us accepting your request. Rush: your first cut arrives within 36 hours of acceptance. Rush is charged extra. The clock starts once we've checked your footage and brief and confirmed the request.
How do we give feedback?+
Each video includes one consolidated round of changes. Your coordinator collects comments from the principal and anyone else who must approve. They then send all changes to us in a single message within 1 working day of receiving the first cut. We make the changes and send the final video.
